Ausgehend vom aktuellen Stand der psychotherapeutischen Versorgung werden Thesen bezüglich der Entwicklung der Psychotherapie aufgestellt. Diese Thesen betreffen die Bereiche »Veränderung der Störungsbilder«, »Vermischung Psychiatrie und Psychosomatik«, »Psychotherapie-Weiterbildung« »Differenzierte Psychotherapie-Angebote«, »tiefenpsychologisch fundierte Psychotherapie versus Verhaltenstherapie«, »Personal« und »Kosten«.

About the future of psychotherapeutic inpatient treatment
Assuming from the actual situation some theses about the development of psychotherapy are compiled. The theses concern the fields »changing of psychiatric disorders«, »the mixture of psychiatry and psychosomatic«, »advanced training in psychotherapy«, »differentiated technics in psychotherapy«, »psychodynamic psychotherapy versus behaviour therapy«, »human resources« and »costs«.

Ausgehend von überlegungen zu einer Veränderung der Attraktivität von Gruppen in den letzten Jahren wird auf die verschiedenen Formen psychodynamischer Gruppentherapie eingegangen, die sich zunehmend annähern und versuchen, den Anforderungen an strukturierte und störungsorientierte Behandlungen gerecht zu werden. Die vorliegenden Forschungsbefunde zur Effektivität psychodynamischer Gruppen werden zusammengefasst. Psychodynamische Gruppen werden schon aus ökonomischen Gründen eine Zukunft haben, sofern sie sich modernisieren können und bei einer besseren Integration in die Ausbildung und Versorgung unterstützt werden.

The future of psychodynamic group psychotherapy
Based upon reflections related to a changing attractiveness of groups during the recent years, several forms of psychodynamic group psychotherapy are described which increasingly seem to converge and to justify the need for structured and disorder oriented treatments. The available evidence related to the effectiveness of psychodynamic groups is summarized. Psychodynamic group psychotherapy will have a future if it will be able to modernize itself and if there will be support to integrate it into training and the service system.

Es werden die Auswirkungen von Therapiemisserfolgen auf die Psychotherapeuten beschrieben, und zwar im Hinblick auf psychische und körperliche Symptome, Suizidalität und das Burnout- Syndrom. Untersucht werden auch die Bindungsmuster von Psychotherapeuten und deren Einfluss auf das Therapieergebnis. Abschließend wird der Frage nachgegangen, welche geeigneten Maßnahmen es für den Erhalt der Arbeitsfähigkeit von Psychotherapeuten gibt.

About risks and side-effects of the psychotherapy profession
This article describes the effect of therapeutic failures on the psychotherapists, his/her mental and physical health, suicidal tendencies and the development of a burn-out-syndrom. The article also discussed the therapists´ attachment style and is effect on therapy outcome. Finally the question is raised if there are suitable tools to save and restore the therapists´ working power.

Im Zusammenhang mit der Betreuung und Behandlung von Personen mit Intersexualität ist immer wieder die Forderung aufgestellt worden, dass Betroffenen und ihren Angehörigen psychologische Hilfe angeboten werden soll. Diese Hilfe kann bei der Diagnosemitteilung und deren Verarbeitung wichtig sein, kann präventiven Charakter haben, d.h. zum Ziel haben, negative Erfahrungen mit dem eigenen Körper, mit anderen Personen, auch mit ärzten, zu verhindern, aber auch angeboten werden, um negative, traumatisierende Erfahrungen aus der Vergangenheit auf zu arbeiten. Bestimmte Aspekte für die psychologische Beratung werden erörtert, wie der Umgang mit der Kränkung, ein Kind mit Intersexualität geboren zu haben bzw. selbst intersexuell zu sein, dem Auftreten von Schuldgefühlen und v.a. von ängsten im Zusammenhang mit Stigmatisierung und untypischer Geschlechtsentwicklung eventuell in Form eines Geschlechtswechsels. Ferner wird die Bedeutung von Geschlecht in der Eltern-Kind Interaktion dargestellt im Zusammenhang mit Mentalisierungsprozessen und deren Auswirkung auf die spätere Beziehungsgestaltung.

Psychological and psychotherapeutic interventions for people with intersexuality
Within the context of care and treatment of people with intersexuality the demand that those people affected and their relatives should receive psychological assistance has been made repeatedly. This help can be important when a diagnosis is being imparted and come to terms with, or can be of a preventative nature, for example with the goal of preventing negative experiences being made by a person with their own body, with others, or with doctors; it can also be offered in order to deal with negative traumatic experiences from the past. Particular aspects of psychological counselling are discussed, such as dealing with the hurt resulting from having given birth to child with intersexuality or of being intersexual oneself, or the with emergence of feelings of guilt and above all of anxiety in connection with stigmatization and atypical sex development, for example in the form of a change of sex. Additionally, the meaning of sex and gender in the parent-child interaction is shown in connection with mentalization processes and their affect on the shaping of future relationships.
